Required Medical Laboratory Exams and Tests:

NOTE: ALL LABS FOR SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASES MUST BE PERFORMED BY THE USCIS CIVIL SURGEON AS PER USCIS GUIDELINES (CLICK HERE TO VIEW)

1) IGRA blood test (Quantiferon Gold or T-Spot) Screening:

  • Required for all applicant age 2 years and up.

  • If a prior or current TB  blood test result is positive or "reactive", you will be required to do a Chest X-ray for an additional charge.

 

Please Note: All prior preventive or curative medical treatment for TB, must be documented on the I-693 Medical Exam Form.

 

 

 

 

 

2) Blood Test: Syphilis Screening:

  • Required for all applicants age 18-23.

  • All prior curative medical treatment for syphilis must be documented on the I-693 Medical Exam Form.

  • A confirmatory syphilis test is required by law if the initial result from the first test is positive. An additional charge will apply.

  • If syphilis is present, then, medical treatment is mandatory in order to be clear for USCIS/Immigration purposes.

3). Urine Test: Gonorrhea Screening

  • Required for all applicants age 18-44.

  • If gonorrhea is present, then, medical treatment is mandatory in order to be clear for USCIS/Immigration purposes.
